Sr. Software Engineer (Go)
Blackpoint CyberResponsibilities
- Deliver business-critical product contributions to a Go-based, cross-OS endpoint agent cybersecurity platform.
- Develop cloud microservice components using Go and TypeScript.
- Apply software design and architecture practices to improve performance, scale, and resiliency.
- Mentor other engineers and lead complex cross-functional projects.
- Define technical solutions, align them with business objectives, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of industry experience developing with Go.
- Familiarity with using Go and TypeScript to build and maintain cloud microservices.
- Experience building and consuming secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitLab for testing, deployment, and service scaling.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment, including sprint planning and breaking down large initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience diagnosing complex technical issues and implementing solutions.
