Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data for Guidewire PolicyCenter, JDP, and integrations.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, API, interface, environment, and deployment validation testing.
- Identify, document, retest, and track defects through resolution.
- Review user stories and acceptance criteria for testability and quality coverage.
- Support sprint testing, release validation, continuous testing, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, and Agile teams to validate fixes and deliver sprint commitments.
- Participate in PI Planning, Sprint Planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, system demos, retrospectives, and Inspect and Adapt activities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of QA experience in Agile software delivery environments.
- Experience testing Guidewire applications, preferably PolicyCenter.
- Knowledge of Property and Casualty or Business Insurance processes.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Experience with API testing and integration validation.
- Broad knowledge of insurance concepts, terminology, products, and business processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, attention to detail, and quality focus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Guidewire certification or testing certification preferred.
