Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data for Guidewire PolicyCenter, JDP, and integrations.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end testing across Guidewire applications.
- Identify, document, retest, and track defects through resolution.
- Review user stories and acceptance criteria for testability and quality coverage.
- Participate in sprint testing, release validation, environment validation, test data preparation, and deployment verification.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to review defects and validate fixes.
- Participate in Agile planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, system demos, retrospectives, and quality improvement activities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of QA experience in Agile software delivery environments.
- Experience testing Guidewire applications, preferably PolicyCenter.
- Knowledge of Property and Casualty or Business Insurance processes and terminology.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Experience with API testing and integration validation.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Guidewire certification or testing certification preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, and attention-to-detail skills.
