Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Ship production code while learning the codebase, product, and banking domain.
- Lead engineering projects from initial design through production as an individual contributor.
- Translate complex financial and banking requirements into reliable software that operates at scale.
- Make decisions about system design, data modeling, and architecture.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and clients to evolve core banking systems.
- Build simple, maintainable systems that automate operational challenges.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on backend software engineering experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in an early-stage or small startup.
- Strong coding skills and a track record of shipping and iterating on reliable software.
- High ownership and comfort working in new problem spaces without a playbook.
- Interest in building core banking systems and financial infrastructure.
- Experience with banking systems or financial infrastructure is valuable.
