Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot the Looker analytics and visualization platform.
- Design, implement, and optimize Looker semantic-layer models using LookML.
- Administer user roles, permissions, and data access controls to support security and compliance.
- Develop and enable Gen AI capabilities within Looker for advanced analytics, AI-driven insights, and automation.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver dashboards, reports, visualizations, and self-service analytics.
- Translate business requirements into effective semantic models and visualizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus two years of software engineering or related experience, or four years of software engineering or related experience.
- Deep understanding of Looker platform configuration, LookML modeling, and semantic-layer management.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data engineering, data modeling, and semantic-model design.
- Experience or familiarity with Gen AI and advanced analytics capabilities in analytics platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot platform issues, optimize performance, and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred: master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related area.
- Preferred: knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
