Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance medium- to large-scale full-stack applications using established standards, frameworks, and design patterns.
- Design, develop, test, debug, tune, and deploy application components and systems.
- Implement front-end user interfaces and back-end services, including Web APIs and RESTful services.
- Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues and resolve defects and performance problems.
- Consult with support and technology groups to recommend programming solutions and support customer-facing systems.
- Use build, continuous integration, code-quality, source-control, testing, and deployment tools.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to new or lower-level analysts.
- Assess risks, follow applicable policies and regulations, and escalate control issues transparently.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of full-stack application development experience covering front-end web and back-end development.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring and Spring Boot, React or Angular, Web API implementations, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Linux or Unix operating systems and relational and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of Gradle or Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, JUnit, Bitbucket, source-control systems, build tools, and deployment tools such as TeamCity or uDeploy.
- Ability to participate in solution design, translate requirements into technical designs and code, and learn new technologies.
- Experience with application testing, debugging, tuning, and software development best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and changing requirements.
- Experience with Agile development and Scrum; financial experience is a plus.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift is a plus.
