Base Salary
$179k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and mentor engineering teams building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Build internal tools, platforms, Claude Code integrations, skills marketplaces, and AI-powered workflows to improve developer productivity.
- Deliver scalable AWS cloud solutions in collaboration with digital product managers.
- Use modern programming languages, databases, containers, orchestration tools, and AWS infrastructure to develop enterprise systems.
- Define service boundaries, integration patterns, reusable frameworks, and long-term technology strategy with enterprise architects.
- Drive system design, software development, operational excellence, technical debt reduction, refactoring, and performance optimization.
- Establish coding standards and design patterns, lead cross-functional technical initiatives, and participate in technology communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: a master’s degree, 7+ years coding with Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript, and experience with databases, cloud platforms, open-source frameworks, front-end frameworks, APIs, testing, version control, troubleshooting, observability, and distributed systems.
- Preferred: experience with AI coding tools and IDE copilots, interactive AI productivity tooling, mentoring engineers, leading large-scale initiatives, and enforcing coding standards and design patterns.
