Responsibilities
- Design and develop complete product features across React Native mobile applications and backend services.
- Build mobile experiences with React Native and TypeScript and implement backend services, APIs, and business logic.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and query optimization.
- Build internal and third-party integrations and asynchronous workflows using queues, events, scheduled jobs, and background workers.
- Create reusable capabilities for multiple products, customers, and white-label applications.
- Develop authentication, authorization, payments, ordering, loyalty, and customer-engagement flows.
- Own features throughout their lifecycle from technical design and implementation through deployment and production operation.
- Design, deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and operate scalable cloud-based services and production systems.
- Write automated tests across mobile and backend components and participate in code reviews and architectural decisions.
- Guide and mentor other developers.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional software-development experience.
- Production experience delivering features across mobile or frontend and backend systems.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript development.
- Production experience with React Native.
- Experience developing backend services and APIs with Node.js, .NET, or a comparable modern backend stack.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or another major cloud platform.
- Experience designing, deploying, and operating cloud-based production services.
- Experience designing APIs and service-to-service integrations.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases and practical data modeling.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, and secure data handling.
- Familiarity with asynchronous processing, queues, background jobs, event-driven systems, containers, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and production deployments.
- Ability to independently understand business requirements, design solutions, and deliver them across the full stack.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, guidance, and mentoring abilities.
- Preferred experience includes white-label or multi-brand applications, native iOS or Android development, distributed systems or microservices, payment or commerce platforms, operating systems at scale, and AI coding agents.
