Responsibilities
- Design and build internal platforms and tools supporting sensitive data discovery, review workflows, access governance, risk tracking, and remediation.
- Develop backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and automation workflows to identify, analyze, and reduce sensitive data exposure.
- Integrate with large-scale data systems including object storage, databases, data warehouses, streaming platforms, metadata systems, and production services.
- Collaborate with security, data platform, and product engineering teams to translate business and risk requirements into engineering solutions.
- Partner with data owners and platform teams to improve sensitive data storage, access, transformation, sharing, and monitoring.
Requirements
- Experience in software engineering, particularly backend, platform, infrastructure, or distributed systems development.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Java, Go, Scala, or similar languages.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS services, IAM concepts, permissions, logging, and access patterns.
