Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated detection and response systems across HPC, Azure, AWS, and Windows environments.
- Develop well-tested Python code using secure software engineering practices.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and ArgoCD.
- Integrate security data and automation from Azure Defender XDR, AWS Security Hub, Elastic Security, and related platforms.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and design reviews.
- Monitor system performance and reliability and identify operational improvements.
- Work with stakeholders to understand automation requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Improve development processes, documentation, and engineering standards.
Requirements
- Strong Python development skills and knowledge of secure software engineering and automation in complex environments.
- Practical experience building and maintaining production systems in AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with DevOps and infrastructure automation tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Exposure to SIEM, XDR, or SOAR platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Elastic Security, and AWS Security Hub.
- Experience working in agile delivery teams and collaborating with diverse technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in building clean, maintainable, and scalable systems.
- A growth mindset and desire to continuously improve systems, processes, and personal skills.
