Responsibilities
- Develop and engineer end-to-end system features spanning user experience and backend code.
- Build scalable server-side web applications using Node.js.
- Apply asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with and help manage the team, contributing to decisions across multiple teams.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide solutions for the immediate team and broader organization.
- Lead efforts to implement team best practices that improve productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Node.js.
- Experience with server-side development and scalable web applications.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration.
- Knowledge of database systems and data modeling.
- Ability to work with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
- 15 years of full-time education required.
