Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized software solutions.
- Design and implement Java/Spring backend applications, RESTful services, microservices, and database solutions.
- Build frontend applications using React.js and its ecosystem, including responsive and accessible user interfaces.
- Participate in requirements definition, solution design, analysis, construction, testing, implementation, and deployment.
- Configure and work with AWS cloud infrastructure and services, including API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, Elastic Load Balancing, EC2, MSK, and RDS.
- Implement unit, component, mutation, and integration-oriented testing practices.
- Monitor and support applications, including observability, logging, metrics, debugging, and user or operational support.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and peers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Apply secure coding practices, support code quality, and help mitigate software vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of extensive software development experience, including hands-on development on complex, large-scale enterprise platforms.
- Strong backend development experience with Java 17 or later and Spring technologies, including Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Security, and Spring Batch.
- Experience designing RESTful services, microservices, data models, database schemas, and relational database solutions, preferably Oracle.
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services, preferably including API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, Elastic Load Balancers, EC2, MSK, and RDS for Oracle.
- Deep experience with React.js, Redux or Flux, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Webpack, Babel, npm or yarn.
- Experience with responsive design principles, ADA compliance, and end-to-end deployment strategies for UI applications.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, mutation testing, Karate, WireMock, and React Testing Library.
- Experience with observability tools such as Elastic and Kibana.
- Experience with GitLab or Bitbucket, Jenkins pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, cloud technologies, and continuous integration or DevOps practices.
- University degree or equivalent experience; relevant technology or platform certifications are valued.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is valued.
