Deloitte AdvisoryResponsibilities
- Own the technical design and implementation of Guidewire solutions across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, Jutro, Engage, integrations, APIs, and decoupled services.
- Lead complex solution design decisions and ensure appropriate use of out-of-the-box Guidewire capabilities and justified customizations.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple squads or workstreams and govern solution designs, code, configurations, standards, and engineering practices.
- Own integration architecture and ensure non-functional requirements for performance, scalability, reliability, and resilience are designed, tested, and met.
- Guide teams on cloud-native patterns, DevSecOps, delivery pipelines, and observability practices.
- Lead root-cause analysis for severe or recurring incidents and drive permanent fixes to reduce defects, repeat incidents, and change-related failures.
- Partner with ADM, QE, and SRE teams to improve platform stability and operational outcomes.
- Collaborate with architects, Business Systems Analysts, Product Owners, and business stakeholders on solution options, scope, delivery approaches, and technical trade-offs.
- Mentor intermediate and junior Guidewire developers and build team technical depth.
- Drive reusable components, accelerators, blueprints, standards, and simplification across Guidewire implementations.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Guidewire development experience, with the posting specifying 1–3+ years.
- Strong expertise across multiple Guidewire products, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and Jutro.
- Strong experience with complex integrations and distributed systems.
- Experience managing technical delivery across multiple teams or modules.
- Strong understanding of property and casualty insurance processes and regulatory requirements.
- Experience owning production stability and operational outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Preferred experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform delivery and operations, DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD, and observability tools.
- Preferred experience leading large-scale Guidewire programs or multi-country implementations in regulated, multi-business-unit enterprises.
- Prior contribution to platform standards or architecture forums is preferred.
