Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and support agile software development efforts to modernize systems.
- Develop backend applications, custom tools, systems, and websites using Python and modern software engineering practices.
- Create APIs and solutions involving server-side development, middleware, application integration, data integration, and core application systems.
- Identify potential risks, solve complex problems, and contribute to scalable and efficient solutions.
- Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to acquire requirements and optimize workflows through automation.
- Write source code for new applications and enhance code samples for existing applications.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and automated testing solutions when needed.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting software development for system modernization.
- At least 5 years of software development experience using programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks.
- At least 3 years of Python programming experience.
- Experience creating solutions to complex problems in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- Bachelor's degree or at least 8 years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred experience with KVM, VMware, or Proxmox virtualization technologies.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated test development, server-side development, middleware, application or data integration, API development, and core application systems.
- Candidates must complete Booz Allen's required skills assessment and meet the minimum proficiency threshold.
