Base Salary

$69k - $158k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance secure enterprise applications, automation tools, and workflows on AWS Cloud.
  • Build automation with Python, Bash, and other scripting languages to improve repeatability and operational efficiency.
  • Support deployment validation, configuration assessments, patching workflows, and release readiness.
  • Troubleshoot system, application, and network issues and contribute to root-cause analysis and reliability improvements.
  • Create isolated test environments for configuration validation, interoperability testing, and rollback planning.
  • Monitor logs, telemetry, and system-health indicators to identify risks and guide remediation.
  • Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and mission teams.
  • Document technical procedures, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and operational standards.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience with cloud environments such as AWS.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting CI/CD or DevSecOps-aligned build, release, or configuration management.
  • Experience troubleshooting across systems, networks, or application layers.
  • Ability to interpret logs, metrics, and telemetry to identify issues and support data-driven resolution.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Preferred experience includes Python, Ansible, Bash, JavaScript, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, security testing, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, technical documentation, and cloud-native engineering.
  • Cloud certification such as AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification is preferred.
