Base Salary
$97k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of medium-scale digital application features and support larger initiatives.
- Troubleshoot coding, application performance, design, and development issues; research root causes and resolve defects.
- Participate as a development lead and key decision maker in architecture and application design discussions.
- Apply information modeling, data structures, algorithms, and knowledge of system dependencies across the software lifecycle.
- Develop and improve standards for coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and software quality.
- Coordinate dependencies, risks, bottlenecks, escalations, metrics, and delivery activities across teams.
- Collaborate with technology and user-experience vendors on implementation plans, roadmaps, and development velocity.
- Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge through forums and other team activities.
- Improve architecture, build, delivery, production operations, and business processes while supporting compliance and risk controls.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience with PL/SQL, Oracle, and integration with Java applications.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience or exposure to horizontally scalable, highly available, highly resilient, and low-latency application architecture.
- Exposure to data engineering techniques including data lakes, data warehouses, data mesh, data pipelines, and ETL versus ELT.
- Exposure to on-premise and public cloud infrastructure, including OpenShift, AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.
- Exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines and tools such as Tekton, Harness, CircleCI, or CloudBees Jenkins.
- Exposure to API management tools and infrastructure-as-code tools such as IntelliJ, CloudFormation, or PySpark.
- Experience mentoring junior developers and strong analytical, communication, diplomacy, leadership, and decision-making skills.
