Guidewire Developer
Guidewire SoftwareResponsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter applications tailored to client requirements.
- Configure Gosu, PCF, plugins, workflows, data models, business rules, products, lines of business, and UI elements.
- Develop and test PolicyCenter integrations using SOAP/REST web services, batch processes, message queues, and event messaging.
- Create unit and GUnit tests, analyze integration requirements, propose solutions, and estimate implementation effort.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, QA, and developers on requirements, delivery planning, prioritization, and troubleshooting.
- Write maintainable code, follow Guidewire standards, mentor team members, and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Experience with Gosu, PCF, entities, typelists, Apache Camel, RESTful APIs, Bitbucket, and IntelliJ.
- Experience with APD, the rating engine, and Integration Gateway.
- In-depth knowledge of the Guidewire platform, including its UI, data model, Studio, out-of-the-box features, and accelerators.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and experience developing integrations and tests.
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud is preferred.
- Guidewire PolicyCenter ACE certification is preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and willingness to work shifts aligned with US colleagues and customers.
- Ability to apply AI and data-driven insights to improve productivity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
