Base Salary
$182k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead impactful customer technical projects by delivering production-grade systems.
- Guide strategic customers in implementing transformational big data projects.
- Advise customers on architecture and design to ensure successful adoption of Databricks.
- Own architecture and design decisions for secure and scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with technical teams to meet customer needs.
- Provide feedback to engineering and support teams for rapid issue resolution.
- Engage with customer stakeholders to understand challenges and deliver impact.
- Contribute to reusable assets and best practices that influence the product roadmap.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, or software engineering.
- Proficient in coding with Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
- Working knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark™.
- Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
- Knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models, and AI APIs.
- Experience in designing and deploying end-to-end data architectures.
- Proven track record in managing technical project delivery.
- Strong documentation and white-boarding skills.
- Experience working with enterprise clients and managing stakeholder conflicts.
- Demonstrated curiosity and adaptability in exploring new technologies.
- Willingness to travel to customers 20% of the time.
- Databricks Certification is preferred.
