Responsibilities
- Build, extend, and maintain the public Altium Development Center, internal tooling, and the technology powering them.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend services.
- Integrate UI components and web services with Altium modules and third-party systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams to integrate and deploy websites and services.
- Help customers adopt the Platform through SDKs, APIs, connectors, and other means.
- Support customer inquiries, enhancements, and bug reports.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards and best practices.
- Support Platform adoption partnerships and enable automation through Platform and customer data and services.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a leading or principal software development technical role.
- Proven experience with at least one popular frontend framework, preferably Vue.js, Next.js, or React.js.
- Fluency and experience with at least one common programming language, preferably C#, Python, Golang, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Understanding of UX, software architecture principles, and design patterns for web services and platforms.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, solve problems, and collaborate with distributed global stakeholders.
- Experience developing APIs, applications, or SDKs is advantageous.
- Familiarity with API technologies, customer-focused API solutions, and user-facing API or SDK documentation is advantageous.
- Experience developing Software as a Service products and understanding cloud and on-premises solutions is advantageous.
- Experience with relational database design and development is advantageous.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, Kubernetes, RESTful APIs, or GraphQL is advantageous.
- Experience with EDA or PCB design tools, Altium products, or the electronics industry is advantageous.
- A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in information technology, engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
