Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance MES applications supporting production, quality, maintenance, and manufacturing operations.
  • Design, maintain, and optimize MES data tables while preserving naming consistency, data integrity, and duplicate-record avoidance.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between the MES, SQL databases, REST APIs, and internal applications.
  • Support and integrate WATS with the MES and other production-related systems.
  • Develop JavaScript and Python logic for triggers, widgets, and custom functionality.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and shop-floor operators to translate operational needs into user-friendly applications.
  • Maintain application documentation, naming standards, and development, testing, and production environment separation.
  • Provide first-level support to manufacturing users, troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and implement minor enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing systems, industrial environments, production support, or internal application development.
  • Experience with Tulip, SAP ME, Siemens Opcenter, or other Manufacturing Execution Systems is preferred.
  • Experience with WATS or other test and repair data management systems is preferred.
  • Experience working in manufacturing or industrial production environments is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate operational processes and business needs into technical solutions.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data quality and documentation standards.
  • Ability to work in office and manufacturing environments, use a computer for extended periods, and occasionally visit production areas.
