Base Salary
$96k - $139k/yr
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze customer requirements related to system performance, security, and scalability.
- Recommend solution architectures, technology frameworks, integration strategies, and enterprise architecture approaches.
- Develop and maintain Java/J2EE backend services and TypeScript/JavaScript front-end components using frameworks such as Spring, Angular, or React.
- Support legacy application re-engineering, application modernization, cloud migration, deployment, and containerization activities.
- Validate proposed architectures through proof-of-concept work and support build, deployment, integration, and release activities.
- Analyze system performance and risks, resolve complex technical issues, and support rollout and production phases.
- Create architectural artifacts and technical documentation while facilitating knowledge transfer and adherence to quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive specialty experience in lieu of each year of education.
- Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, TypeScript/JavaScript, Angular or React, relational databases, cloud platforms, and container environments.
- Experience or familiarity with AWS, OpenShift, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Ability to analyze, design, and develop scalable and secure architectures and evaluate technology alternatives.
- Understanding of integration methodologies, proof-of-concept validation, deployment strategies, and SDLC practices.
- Ability to collaborate with customers and development, QA, and infrastructure teams.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Sonnet through CodeAssist is preferred.
