Responsibilities
- Build and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Own frontend features from initial idea through production.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and other developers on technical solutions.
- Shape frontend architecture and improve development practices.
- Build fast, responsive, accessible, and maintainable applications.
- Use UI libraries and design systems to create consistent user experiences.
- Review code and share knowledge and best practices.
- Develop browser-based 3D visualisations and interactive experiences.
- Develop features involving interactive maps and geospatial data.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of frontend development experience.
- Strong experience with React and strong knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Experience with large or complex web applications.
- Understanding of frontend architecture, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience integrating APIs and working with backend services.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and browser behaviour.
- Comfort with Git and modern development workflows.
- Ability to work independently, make technical decisions, and take responsibility for work.
- Fluent English and strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Candidates must be based in Portugal or Brazil.
- Preferred experience includes Material UI, Tailwind CSS, Three.js, WebGL, Mapbox, Leaflet, OpenLayers, complex visualisations, frontend performance optimisation, and automated testing.
