Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, configuration, planning, and execution of application development tasks.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact and provide solutions across immediate and multiple teams.
- Configure and manage Apache Kafka clusters for high availability and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and optimize Kafka performance in complex environments.
- Integrate Kafka with data processing and storage systems and apply relevant security best practices.
- Coordinate stakeholders, facilitate knowledge sharing, make team decisions, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Minimum 7.5 years of experience is required.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Apache Kafka is stated in the additional information.
- Proficiency in Apache Kafka and Apache Administration is required.
- Strong knowledge of distributed messaging systems and event streaming platforms is required.
- Understanding of security best practices related to Kafka deployment and administration is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
