Responsibilities
- Own and operate Payabli's cloud infrastructure.
- Design and evolve CI/CD pipelines for safe and repeatable production pushes.
- Enhance local development experiences to ensure quick productivity.
- Build environments for AI-assisted development within a PCI-compliant framework.
- Define and drive the platform roadmap in collaboration with engineering leadership.
- Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS through effective infrastructure management.
- Implement monitoring and observability tools for real-time system health insights.
- Document processes and establish standards to enhance team self-sufficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering.
- Deep expertise in AWS services and their architectural trade-offs.
- Strong experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Fluency in infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Security-minded with knowledge of network segmentation and access controls.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to drive infrastructure improvements.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical decisions to non-specialists.
