Responsibilities
- Technically lead development teams delivering Network Automation and Orchestration products.
- Own functional and design specifications, code, and unit and integration test cases.
- Drive architectural decisions and technical implementations for scalable and maintainable cloud networking solutions.
- Establish technical standards and mentor team members on engineering best practices.
- Develop epics, stories, and tasks and collaborate across teams for complete solution integration.
- Promote best-in-class engineering practices, including test-driven development and design principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or electronics and communication engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong coding and debugging experience with Java or Golang, including local and remote debugging.
- Experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, cloud application development, and containerized deployment architectures.
- Knowledge of YANG, UML, JSON, advanced data structures, inter-process communication, multithreading, network programming, and object-oriented development.
- Proficiency with Linux, Jenkins pipelines, Git, databases including PostgreSQL, Redis, and MariaDB, and messaging systems including RabbitMQ and Kafka.
- Experience with webhooks, WebSockets, OpenAPI, OpenConfig, NETCONF, streaming telemetry, gNMI, gRPC, and XMPP.
- Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols and technologies, including 802.1Q, LAGs, VXLAN, EVPN, ACLs, route policy, MPLS/VPLS, BGP, Layer 2 forwarding, and Layer 3 routing.
- Complete exposure to the product life cycle and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience with network orchestration platforms, automation frameworks, scalable highly available distributed systems, telemetry and streaming analytics, and technical team mentorship.
