Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize high-performance in-vehicle applications and connectivity middleware for low-latency, high-throughput vehicle-to-cloud data transfer.
- Implement platform services for system-wide resource management, health monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Troubleshoot and root-cause issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Write unit and integration tests, conduct code reviews, and maintain software quality.
- Create design documentation and participate in design reviews and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a similar field.
- Strong proficiency in modern C++, including C++14/17, RAII, smart pointers, multithreading, inter-process communication, and memory management for resource-constrained environments.
- Hands-on experience developing, cross-compiling, testing, and debugging on Embedded Linux.
- Experience writing automated unit and integration tests with modern C++ testing frameworks and Python.
- Experience with HTTP, MQTT, Protobuf, FlatBuffers, and JSON.
- Experience with Android, QNX, POSIX-compliant operating systems, vehicle networking and diagnostic standards, Adaptive AUTOSAR, or Rust is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
