Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot software components and technical solutions.
- Implement ServiceNow business rules, client scripts, fix scripts, scheduled jobs, and integration solutions.
- Write secure, high-quality code using at least one programming language.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and automation while validating their outputs.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify problems and support decision-making.
- Apply software development lifecycle tools, processes, methodologies, security practices, and resiliency considerations.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform implementation is preferred, while off-platform development experience is welcomed.
- Experience implementing business rules and scripts, including client scripts, fix scripts, and scheduled jobs.
- Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, its PaaS model, and ServiceNow integration solutions.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle is preferred.
- Knowledge of the HRSD domain and NowAssist is preferred.
