Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end solution architecture across the Source-to-Contract portfolio.
- Serve as the final authority for architecture governance and complex design decisions.
- Define capability models and align Source-to-Contract architecture with the broader enterprise architecture.
- Represent Source-to-Contract in cross-functional architecture and engineering forums.
- Design and implement scalable, performance-oriented solutions for customer-facing production challenges.
- Address performance, scalability, security, and observability issues in partnership with engineering teams.
- Own the roadmap for technical-debt reduction and legacy-system modernization.
- Assess and improve the software development lifecycle, DevOps, CI/CD, delivery speed, and quality.
Requirements
- 12+ years of significant experience in software architecture and engineering.
- Track record owning architecture for complex, enterprise-scale applications.
- Strong expertise applying architecture design patterns to scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems.
- Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Proven experience developing microservices with C#, Python, and Node.js.
- Comprehensive experience designing, developing, and managing REST APIs.
- Experience addressing performance, scalability, security, and observability challenges in production.
- Experience driving modernization initiatives in complex, at-scale systems.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence decisions without direct authority.
- Working knowledge of SDLC best practices, DevOps, and CI/CD, with a history of process improvement.
- Experience in source-to-contract, procurement, or comparable B2B enterprise SaaS domains is preferred but not mandatory.
