Base Salary
$181k - $237k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own medium to large infrastructure projects and complex technology capabilities from technical design through completion.
- Design and build resilient systems that reduce failure domains and minimize the impact of maintenance and outages.
- Develop software, automation, and self-service infrastructure that improves engineering productivity and operational stability.
- Guide the development of Service-Level Objectives and apply Site Reliability Engineering practices.
- Lead cross-team technical planning, execution, delivery, and risk mitigation.
- Lead, mentor, and train engineers while enforcing standards for stable, correct, and maintainable code.
- Drive technical roadmap prioritization and influence product roadmap and process improvements.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience with increasingly impactful accomplishments.
- Experience contributing significantly to cross-pod or cross-company deliverables.
- Experience leading technical contributions and building fault-tolerant, scalable software systems.
- Expertise applying computer science concepts in a software engineering team.
- Experience mentoring and training more junior engineers.
- Bonus: deep production cloud expertise in AWS or GCP at scale.
- Bonus: advanced Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code experience with complex multi-account environments.
- Bonus: Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, Istio, IAM, VPC peering, and Site Reliability Engineering experience.
- A B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent high-level industry experience.

- Base pay of $180,504-$236,911 per year, plus employee benefits, equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.
