Base Salary
$125k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain the availability of cloud and physical Linux servers powering the Palantir platform in air-gapped production environments.
- Design, deploy, and operate infrastructure using orchestration and monitoring platforms to support customer and product requirements.
- Collaborate with product teams on requirements and service-level objectives for deploying software into air-gapped environments.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network and systems issues using observability and systems tools.
- Write scripts to automate routine operational tasks.
- Provide technical troubleshooting support for production issues and participate in a support on-call schedule.
Requirements
- Active security clearance is required.
- At least 4 years of Linux system administration experience is required, with RHEL or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with cloud hosting platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and/or hardware-based environments is required.
- Familiarity with monitoring systems such as Prometheus and writing health checks is required.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Go, Python, JavaScript, or Bash is required.
- A strong engineering background is preferred, including fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Experience with Docker or Podman and OpenShift or Kubernetes at scale is a plus.
- Preferred certifications include DOD 8570 IAT Level II or greater, CISSP, Security+, Linux+, or RHCE.
