Responsibilities
- Shape Android platform architecture across navigation, networking, storage, and metrics.
- Build and evolve Android client health and observability tools.
- Improve developer experience by designing tools and workflows.
- Define and operationalize guardrails for code quality.
- Apply AI to enhance engineering workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design end-to-end solutions.
- Mentor and support Android engineers through design reviews and documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building user-facing Android applications in Kotlin and/or Java.
- Experience working in a large Android codebase with a sizable developer community.
- Strong background in Android platform/infrastructure work.
- Solid foundations in modern Android architecture and testing.
- Hands-on experience with observability tooling.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate clearly.
- Practical experience applying AI to engineering workflows.
