Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise applications and platforms.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, maintainable technical solutions.
- Lead architecture discussions, technical design reviews, solution workshops, code reviews, and architecture governance.
- Establish architecture principles, standards, frameworks, reusable patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Evaluate and govern the adoption of technologies, tools, platforms, and cloud solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and implementation guidance to development teams.
- Drive cloud transformation, modernization, and migration programs.
- Support project estimation, technical planning, risk assessment, performance optimization, scalability engineering, and troubleshooting.
- Mentor and coach developers, technical leads, and engineers across delivery teams.
- Produce Solution Architecture Documents, High-Level Design Documents, Low-Level Design Documents, and architecture review and governance reports.
Requirements
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 3–5 years in Technical Architecture or Solution Architecture roles.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or similar enterprise leadership role.
- Strong experience in application architecture, enterprise solution design, and software engineering.
- Proficiency with enterprise technologies such as Java, .NET, Node.js, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures, API-led integrations, RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and messaging technologies.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, compliance, performance, scalability, reliability, and availability requirements.
- Preferred certifications include TOGAF Certification, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent cloud and architecture certifications.
- Preferred experience includes Agile/Scrum delivery environments and domain experience in insurance, banking and financial services, healthcare, or retail.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, problem-solving, leadership, mentoring, presentation, and client engagement skills.
