Responsibilities
- Design and develop derivatives trading systems for order processing, position management, and real-time account risk controls.
- Design high-performance data structures, concurrency models, and event-processing mechanisms for consistent order, trade, position, and balance processing.
- Collaborate with product, risk management, and operations teams to implement trading rules and risk requirements.
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, performance testing, and production troubleshooting.
- Improve engineering quality, system observability, performance, correctness, and reliability.
Requirements
- Fluency in English.
- At least 5 years of C++ development experience with high-performance, highly concurrent, or low-latency systems.
- Proficiency in modern C++, object lifetimes, memory management, templates, and the STL.
- Deep understanding of multithreading, atomic operations, memory models, and thread synchronization.
- Experience with Linux systems programming and network programming, including TCP/UDP and I/O multiplexing.
- Understanding of CPU caches, cache coherence, false sharing, and NUMA, with experience using tools such as perf.
- Experience designing complex stateful systems involving event ordering, idempotency, state consistency, and fault recovery.
- Strong focus on correctness and reliability, analytical skills, and the ability to independently investigate issues and implement solutions.
- Preferred experience with exchanges, brokerages, futures trading, quantitative trading, or financial infrastructure.
- Preferred familiarity with derivatives mechanics including margin, leverage, isolated and cross margin, mark prices, funding rates, liquidation, and settlement.
- Preferred experience with lock-free data structures, CPU affinity, memory pools, zero-copy techniques, or SIMD optimization.
