Software Engineer
Mercado LibreResponsibilities
- Design and evolve complex asynchronous architectures optimized for concurrency and data processing.
- Solve high-complexity technical problems involving rate limits and resilience strategies.
- Build and scale high-availability infrastructure for the GenAI Gateway team.
- Support users of the team’s tools and facilitate their integration.
- Ensure each integrated model meets documentation, billing, and observability standards.
Requirements
- Solid experience with Go applied to high-performance microservices.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and applying SOLID and TDD development practices.
- Ability to identify bottlenecks in distributed systems and propose scalable solutions.
- Knowledge of SRE techniques and observability for monitoring application health.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases and storage systems such as Object Storage and Redis.
