Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications aligned with business requirements and architecture.
- Design, build, and maintain highly available REST APIs and microservices.
- Participate in the full software lifecycle from design through production implementation.
- Implement technical-debt reduction, maintainability improvements, design patterns, and event-driven architectures.
- Design and implement scalable cloud-native solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and promote secure development practices.
- Optimize queries and data models across relational and NoSQL databases.
- Design testing strategies and ensure appropriate quality coverage.
- Analyze and resolve complex incidents in distributed environments.
- Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced team members.
- Participate in modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- More than six years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience developing Java applications and microservices.
- Proficiency with Java JDK 11 and 17, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, JDBC, and JPA.
- Experience designing and implementing REST and RESTful APIs, with knowledge of OpenAPI and Swagger.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, Apache Kafka, reactive programming, functional programming, Maven, and Gradle.
- Experience with unit testing and BDD strategies.
- Knowledge of code review, secure programming, refactoring, SonarQube, and UML modeling.
- Experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, MongoDB, CosmosDB, Redis Cache, and HashiCorp Vault.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and AKS.
- Experience with Azure API Management, Azure Application Gateway, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Blob Storage.
- Experience with cloud-native platforms.
- Preferred experience includes Quarkus, Node.js, JavaScript, serverless architectures, AWS, CI/CD and deployment automation, Dynatrace or other monitoring platforms, OWASP, penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, Docker Swarm, Databricks, networking components and protocols, and advanced NoSQL database design.
