Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement scalable frameworks, libraries, testing infrastructure, and internal developer tools.
- Automate manual development lifecycle processes and improve engineering productivity.
- Drive the technical implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines across build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Partner with development, business analysis, and operations teams to understand application architecture and business workflows.
- Champion code quality, testability, shift-left practices, and well-documented framework designs.
- Research and integrate AI-powered tools for developer productivity and test effectiveness.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert, conduct code reviews, and mentor other engineers.
- Assess and manage technology, regulatory, compliance, and operational risks in accordance with company policies.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in a technical or development role.
- Experience architecting, designing, and implementing scalable applications, frameworks, or developer tools from scratch.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience or strong interest in integrating and using AI tools in a development context.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in an agile team environment.
- Preferred experience in the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of BDD principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
- Experience building and maintaining shared libraries or open-source projects.
- Expertise in at least one major programming language such as Java or Python.
- Extensive experience with testing frameworks and tools such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, or Postman.
