Base Salary
$155k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize real-time embedded modem software across protocol layers, drivers, and platform services.
- Apply data structures and algorithms to develop efficient firmware under latency, memory, and power constraints.
- Own requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, on-target bring-up, and maintenance for software features.
- Integrate and improve AI coding agents, code-review tools, static analysis, test synthesis, and automated crash/log triage.
- Debug complex issues on target hardware using logs, traces, RAM dumps, and AI-assisted analysis.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, test, and integration teams to deliver production modem firmware.
- Participate in code and design reviews, improve engineering standards, and mentor peers in embedded and AI-native practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Alternatively, a master’s degree and 1+ year of relevant experience, or a PhD in a related field.
- Experience developing software in C/C++ for real-time embedded systems, including work with protocol layers, drivers, or platform services.
- Ability to design efficient data structures and algorithms and debug software on target hardware.
- Ability and willingness to use or build AI-assisted development workflows and tooling.
Benefits
- Pay range is $154,600.00–$232,000.00, plus an annual discretionary bonus program and potential annual RSU grants.
