Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support PNC’s core cloud platform.
- Analyze and recommend cloud implementations or migrations for applications and legacy platforms.
- Implement and maintain cloud management solutions, including automation, notifications, and reporting.
- Troubleshoot cloud service events and issues and coordinate resolution with cloud service providers.
- Design and develop disaster recovery strategies and environments.
- Document cloud architecture, best practices, and procedures.
- Mentor team members and provide technical expertise on platform engineering.
- Support secure, scalable, and reliable technology solutions and integrate customer needs into development efforts.
Requirements
- Deep experience with AWS and/or Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, and native cloud capabilities.
- Hands-on experience architecting, designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based applications and solutions.
- Experience across cloud computing areas including compute, CI/CD, containers, storage, platforms, data, networking, and security.
- Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, HTTP, web security, switches, routers, load balancers, and firewalls is desired.
- High-level understanding of Terraform.
- Experience with industry-standard CI/CD tools, with Jenkins preferred.
- Experience with configuration management, with Ansible preferred.
- Experience with Azure AI, including AI Foundry, Search, and APIM.
- Programming experience in Python and Go is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree and typically 5+ years of industry-relevant experience; comparable education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
