Base Salary
$80k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement GKE clusters, node pools, and networking configurations.
- Manage, monitor, log, secure, and troubleshoot GKE clusters.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for GKE cluster management.
- Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Tanzu Platform for Cloud Foundry environments.
- Provide infrastructure production support, resolve production issues promptly, and coordinate with teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Prepare root-cause analyses, administer Linux environments, and maintain platform documentation and data-process workflows.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers and stay current with data-management technologies and trends.
Requirements
- Eight to ten years of experience in platform maintenance or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Git, networking concepts, cloud computing, PCF/Tanzu Application Services, BOSH commands, and vSphere.
- Proficiency with Bash/Shell or Python scripting and hands-on Linux administration experience.
- Expertise in master-slave architecture, high availability, and resilience.
- Hands-on infrastructure production support experience, including prompt issue handling and root-cause analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of Tanzu Build Services is mandatory.
- Cloud certification and knowledge of governance and compliance standards are preferred.

- The expected compensation ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 per year, with final compensation dependent on location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
