Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrations that ingest vulnerability and asset data from security platforms.
- Extract, normalize, and transform data from external REST APIs into platform-ready formats.
- Design new connectors and improve the internal connector framework.
- Collaborate with product, QA, support, and platform engineering to ensure integrations are stable, scalable, and supportable.
- Build tooling and automation for connector testing, validation, and deployment.
- Support QA and customer support teams in diagnosing and resolving connector issues.
- Own reliability and observability for connector infrastructure, including logging, metrics, and error handling.
- Lead technical efforts or projects from design through release.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of technical leadership experience.
- Strong Python experience and experience with dataframe libraries such as pandas or polars.
- Experience with PHP and/or React.
- Deep understanding of REST API authentication, pagination, rate limiting, and data normalization.
- Experience writing testable code, unit and integration tests, and mocks for external APIs.
- Background in data transformation or ETL-style workflows.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfort working in Linux-based environments with strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or computer engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Experience with the Zend Framework ecosystem, especially Laminas Framework, is preferred.
- Experience with security tools such as CrowdStrike, Wiz, Qualys, or Rapid7 is preferred.
- Familiarity with Docker, relational databases, and cloud-based Linux applications is preferred.
- Experience with SingleStore/MemSQL and Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
