Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve Tulip’s Cypress and TypeScript end-to-end automation framework across critical product surfaces
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to provide fast and reliable engineering feedback
  • Research and implement load and performance testing strategies
  • Use AI-assisted tools for test generation, failure triage, anomaly detection, and improved coverage
  • Perform exploratory, regression, and manual testing of new features
  • Mentor QA teammates, lead test plan reviews, and promote automation best practices
  • Lead cross-functional quality initiatives from scoping through delivery
  • Advocate for testability and quality standards during engineering planning

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of QA experience combining manual testing and automation
  • Hands-on expertise with Cypress and TypeScript/JavaScript automation frameworks
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, ideally including API test automation
  • Strong exploratory and manual testing experience with complex SaaS products
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Hands-on experience using AI-powered tools such as Mabl, Momentic, Rainforest QA, or Claude to improve testing quality, efficiency, or coverage
  • Experience leading formal or informal quality initiatives and aligning QA with engineering teams
  • Preferred experience designing or implementing performance and load testing strategies
  • Preferred exposure to Playwright, Selenium, or Python
  • Interest in IoT technologies or embedded systems is preferred
  • Preferred experience applying AI to failure triage, anomaly detection, or AI-assisted test code review
