Base Salary
$174k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Integrate mature hardware systems by developing software and collaborating with subject-matter experts on advanced algorithms.
- Develop and test real-time applications using modern C++ and open architecture software principles.
- Translate verified algorithms from higher-level languages such as MATLAB into real-time implementations.
- Support system testing across modeling and simulation, live test, and Live-Virtual-Constructive infrastructure.
- Lead small focused teams implementing and testing autonomy and mission-system applications.
- Engage with current and prospective customers to understand requirements and guide product development.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ development, including multithreaded applications.
- Experience with hardware/software integration, test-driven development, and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with cross-platform development on Windows, Linux, and iOS and with version-control workflows.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience with a PhD, 5 years with a master's degree, or 7 years with a bachelor's degree.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship under U.S. government requirements.
- Preferred qualifications include an active Secret or Top Secret clearance, 5+ years of C++ experience with open architecture systems, safety-critical software architecture experience, real-time software development, algorithm optimization, network protocol debugging, OMS/UCI and A-GRA standards familiarity, and experience with software quality tools.
