Base Salary
$173k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop tools and automated workflows to analyze large datasets for modeling and intelligence efforts.
- Create system models from circuit diagrams, schematics, source code, signal-processing algorithms, and reverse-engineered components.
- Use intelligence databases and analytic tools to support technical collection and threat modeling.
- Write custom query logic and scripts to extract, correlate, and analyze data across databases and intelligence repositories.
- Apply network analysis, COMINT, and SIGINT tradecraft to technical problems.
- Document, demonstrate, and present research findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Brief leadership on project status, technical findings, and operational impacts.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop cybersecurity solutions for national-security problems.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret security clearance with active CI polygraph, or willingness to obtain a CI polygraph; U.S. citizenship is required by the government.
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Intelligence community experience with all-source intelligence tools and databases and Intelligence Oversight policies and procedures.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or similar languages.
- Experience with data analysis and automation, including pandas, SQL queries, and data-extraction scripting.
- Understanding of electrical engineering concepts, circuit and flow diagrams, signal-processing chains, and network traffic data.
- Proficiency with modeling tools such as SPICE or MATLAB.
- Preferred qualifications include SIGINT, COMINT, cryptologic, network analysis, communications systems, reverse engineering, firmware analysis, malware analysis, foreign-language, CTF, digital-twin, embedded-systems, signal-processing, targeting, collection-management, operational-intelligence, team-leadership, and senior-leadership briefing experience.
