Responsibilities
- Own implementation and production operations for core system platform solutions.
- Implement automation, self-healing, and real-time monitoring in response to production deficiencies.
- Contribute to the architecture, provisioning, configuration, deployment, and support of platform services.
- Partner with distributed teams to prototype new database platform services.
- Define and deploy autonomous database services with a focus on architecture, operations, capacity planning, performance, deployment, and release engineering.
- Diagnose complex hardware and software issues, restore functionality, perform root cause analysis, and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on expertise deploying, optimizing, and maintaining Oracle Engineered Systems and subsystems.
- Advanced proficiency with Oracle Database technologies, including RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, and performance tuning.
- Operational mastery of Linux platforms such as RHEL and OEL.
- Strong experience using Python and shell scripting for automation and custom solutions.
- Experience with OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
- Working knowledge of web application security best practices and network infrastructure concepts.
- Proficiency with configuration management tools.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
