Responsibilities
- Build mission-critical backend services that deliver value to customers.
- Design, develop, and maintain Kafka Connect connectors for databases and data warehouses.
- Implement Change Data Capture (CDC) connectors using open source technologies.
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues within a complex technical stack.
- Ensure operational readiness of services and meet performance SLA commitments.
- Drive process and operational improvements as a strategic engineer.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in designing, building, and supporting backend systems.
- Proficiency in a major programming language such as Java, Go, C/C++, or Python.
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices deployment using tools like Kubernetes.
- Strong project delivery and communication skills.
- Experience in driving operational excellence for large production services.
- BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
