Responsibilities
- Build and maintain tools, applications, and workflows for demos and workshops.
- Expand the Demo Architect Portal for improved automation and scalability.
- Provision and support infrastructure for customer experiences on GitLab.com.
- Collaborate with various teams to deliver practical technical solutions.
- Document go-to-market workflows and automate inefficient steps.
- Create technical workshop assets and enablement content.
- Advise on sales opportunities requiring specialized demo support.
- Improve the presenter experience by simplifying demo workflows.
- Support internal teams relying on demo or test infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot urgent demo environment issues and communicate status.
Requirements
- Experience building software or internal tools for technical users.
- Ability to deliver production-grade software with reliability and documentation.
- Comfort with application development and infrastructure workflows.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools for efficient troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Understanding of usability and repeatability in solution design.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Exposure to technical demos or interest in pre-sales contexts.
