Responsibilities
- Own ASM’s enterprise AI architecture, target-state roadmap, standards, reusable patterns, and AI inventory.
- Assess business processes and data readiness and translate AI opportunities into practical solution designs, prototypes, and proofs of value.
- Define reference architectures for Copilots, agents, retrieval-augmented generation, workflow orchestration, APIs, data access, human oversight, and enterprise integration.
- Guide AI solutions from exploration through deployment, adoption, monitoring, operational support, and measurable business impact.
- Establish production standards for testing, evaluation, deployment, rollback, observability, reliability, service ownership, and cost management.
- Embed responsible AI, privacy, intellectual property, trade compliance, security, least-privilege access, human approvals, auditability, and fail-safe behavior.
- Collaborate with business and process owners, AI Engineers, Network Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, architects, cloud teams, and cybersecurity.
- Experiment with AI products, models, Copilots, agent patterns, automation tools, and platforms through ASM’s Innovation Lab and coach teams on reusable implementations.
Requirements
- A minimum degree in data science, information technology, computer science, mathematics, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in enterprise, solution, data, cloud, or comparable architecture roles, including ownership of complex end-to-end designs.
- At least 2 years of practical experience designing and delivering AI-enabled business solutions, Generative AI, Copilots, automation, or Agentic AI.
- Strong understanding of enterprise AI solution patterns, including model and service selection, Copilots, RAG, embeddings, agents, orchestration, evaluation, integration, observability, and operationalization.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, cloud AI services, enterprise integration, workflow automation, prototyping tools, source control, automated testing, and CI/CD.
- Ability to use Python or comparable languages to validate concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and familiarity with modern data and AI platforms.
- Understanding of responsible AI and AI governance, with the ability to translate business outcomes into scalable and operable AI solutions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, plus a pragmatic, action-oriented, outcome-driven approach.
- Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Copilot or Copilot Studio, SAP Joule, Azure AI, AWS AI/ML, Google Cloud AI, or comparable enterprise AI platforms is preferred.
- Experience in a semiconductor, engineering, or high-tech manufacturing environment is preferred.
