Base Salary
$230k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Drive end-to-end design and implementation of large-scale, distributed, or cloud-native systems with high reliability and performance requirements.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and shape system architecture and long-term technology direction.
- Partner with architects, product leaders, and digital product managers on platform roadmaps, shared services, and customer experiences.
- Mentor engineering community members and senior engineers while driving professional development within technical teams.
- Establish coding standards, design patterns, observability practices, reliability practices, and enterprise-wide technical standards.
- Lead cross-functional engineering efforts and large-scale technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field is required.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience is required; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, 9+ years coding with multiple listed languages, and extensive experience with open source frameworks, front-end frameworks, APIs, databases, cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, observability, architecture reviews, coding standards, reliability, AI coding tools, and technical strategy.
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering efforts or large-scale technical initiatives is preferred.
