Base Salary
$75k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement technical cybersecurity controls.
- Research and configure cyber controls while following approved Agile development processes.
- Review technical and vendor documentation to understand cyber functions and capabilities.
- Analyze requirements with government product owners and subject-matter experts and provide solutions.
- Review change requests, gather requirements, and identify technical solutions.
- Tune and optimize related code and system-level configurations.
- Provide technical support during release testing and prepare testing plans.
- Create deployment instructions for successful migration and code backout.
- Prepare design alternatives, design specifications, updates, and other project deliverables.
- Drive meetings with product owners and manage analysis through design and development.
- Work with Oracle vendors on service requests as needed.
Requirements
- Experience with cybersecurity controls and remediation.
- Experience working in an Oracle Linux environment and with shell scripting.
- Ability to harden Oracle applications, technology stack, databases, operating systems, and tools according to DoD requirements.
- Proficiency in secure coding practices and code review methodologies.
- Ability to create professional documentation and written materials.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and adaptability to changing processes, technologies, and environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of cybersecurity experience for Oracle platforms.
- Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, DISA STIG, FIPS 140-2, and related guidelines.
- CompTIA Security+ certification, U.S. citizenship, and eligibility to pass a T3 Background Investigation.
- Preferred experience with Marine Corps or DoD cybersecurity processes, STIGs and cyber controls for Oracle applications, Oracle EBS R12.2.x, and Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c or higher.
