Responsibilities
- Engineer and maintain customer-centric, secure, robust, and high-performance solutions for the Benefits vertical.
- Ship large features and improvements with minimal guidance while collaborating on larger team projects.
- Solve complex technical problems and translate high-level business requirements into software designs.
- Review code, features, architecture, and designs while driving code-quality and testing standards.
- Drive the team’s technical roadmap and architecture.
- Mentor junior engineers and remove blockers to their technical autonomy.
- Act as technical lead for the pod or team and drive large initiatives.
- Work with business and technical leadership to improve revenue and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of programming experience.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in performing the role.
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments, identify areas of impact, and pursue solutions independently.
- Experience building scalable distributed systems and critical platform components.
- Preferred experience with Python, Django, React, MongoDB, AWS, and GoLang.
- Experience with marketplace platforms is a bonus.
