Base Salary
$177k - $365k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical roadmap for activation backend systems.
- Drive hands-on backend engineering across APIs and production systems.
- Build signal infrastructure to capture user intent for recommendation systems.
- Collaborate with ML engineers to support backend infrastructure for ML models.
- Partner with product managers to translate user problems into technical opportunities.
- Drive cross-team technical initiatives and author design documents.
- Own system reliability and operational health for activation backend systems.
- Mentor and develop engineers on the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building large-scale backend systems.
- 2+ years of experience as a senior IC driving cross-team projects.
- Strong product mindset to identify impactful technical problems.
- Track record of rapid execution in ambiguous environments.
- Strong systems design skills across distributed systems.
- Familiarity with ML infrastructure concepts.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience mentoring engineers and establishing best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI to enhance workflow.
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
